Forms + Surfaces designs and manufactures architectural products used in public spaces around the world. From walls and elevator interiors to site furnishings and lighting.
Glass
Inspired by the blueprints of Forms + Surface's outdoor furniture, I created a pattern that emphasized documents that are usually behind the scenes.
This pattern was executed on glass using different techniques. This includes playing with etching, layering, opacity, reflectivity, color and print.
Aluminum Chair Exploration
Exploration for laser cut designs on outdoor chairs intended for public spaces. Consideration was put into child safety and water drainage.

Woven Chair Exploration
Bringing in a bit of softness by weaving flexible rope around a hard metal frame.
Final Iteration. Chipboard is used as a placeholder for laser cut metal sheets
Light Column
Created a laser cut surface pattern for a light column for the city of Mason, Ohio.
